The oils in the formula are chosen because they closely resemble the oils younger skin makes on its own. The standout here is olive squalane, which helps top up the natural supply your skin gradually produces less of from your mid-twenties onward.

2. It delivers antioxidants that actually reach where they need to go.
We’ve only included antioxidants that are well-researched, stable, and able to penetrate the skin. The two key players are resveratrol and ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate (a highly absorbable oil-soluble vitamin C). If you’re curious, both are worth a quick search — there’s plenty of interesting research behind them.

We use ultra-fine micronised resveratrol at almost 100% purity for the best absorption. It took months of trial and error to keep it stable at the concentration we wanted, because resveratrol can make creams tricky to formulate when used at meaningful levels.
