Sodium cocoate, Aqua, Sodium castorate, Pumice, Olea europaea seed powder, Sodium bicarbonate, Cedrus deodara wood oil, Citrus limon peel oil, Pogostemon cablin leaf oil, Melaleuca alternifolia leaf oil, Limonene, Citral. *Occurs naturally in essential oils.
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with clean water. Do not use on broken or irritated skin, and discontinue use if redness or irritation develops. Keep out of reach of children. Contains essential oils with naturally occurring limonene and citral, which may cause a reaction in sensitive individuals - carry out a patch test first if you have sensitive skin. Contains pumice; avoid using on the face or on broken, cut or sensitive skin.
Wet the bar and your skin with warm water and work up a lather between your hands. Massage over the body using light, circular movements so the natural exfoliating particles can do their job, then rinse thoroughly. Avoid the delicate eye area. Allow the bar to dry on a draining soap dish between uses to keep it firm.
Oil, grease and engine grime are notoriously difficult to shift, and harsh workshop cleaners can leave hands feeling raw. Friendly Soap's Mechanic's Soap offers a natural alternative. This handmade 95g bar from the Work range is loaded with natural exfoliants and degreasing ingredients to scrub away stubborn marks, while castor oil and coconut oil help look after hands that work hard every day. It is the bar to keep beside the workshop sink.
Three natural scrubbing ingredients do the heavy lifting here: volcanic pumice, finely ground olive stone and bicarbonate of soda, which helps to cut through oily residue. Lemon, cedarwood, patchouli and tea tree essential oils give the bar a fresh, woody-citrus aroma that helps neutralise workshop smells. The base combines coconut oil for powerful cleansing with castor oil for a creamy, conditioning lather. Limonene and citral occur naturally in the essential oils.
Wet your hands, work the bar into a lather and scrub thoroughly, paying attention to knuckles and around the nails. The grit gives a satisfying, effective scrub, and the lather rinses away to leave hands clean and refreshed rather than dry. The scent is fresh and distinctive without being overpowering. For the best results on heavy grease, rub the dry bar onto the stained areas before adding water.
Each bar starts life in a small workshop in the Calder Valley, where it is mixed, poured and cut by hand using the time-honoured cold process method. Nothing goes to waste in the process, and nothing unnecessary goes into the bar - no palm oil, no parabens, no sulphates and no synthetic perfumes. The brand is registered with The Vegan Society, approved by Cruelty Free International and rated Best by Ethical Consumer, while the recycled card box is ready for your recycling bin.
Perfect for mechanics, engineers, cyclists, DIY enthusiasts and anyone who regularly gets oil or grease on their hands. It makes a handy, practical gift too.
Because it is made without artificial hardeners or preservatives, this soap loves to be kept dry between uses. A draining soap dish or a wooden rack is ideal, and it means you will get the very most out of every bar.
Every Friendly Soap product is designed to be as kind as possible to people and planet alike. The range is free from palm oil, parabens, SLS, triclosan and phthalates, and it is registered with The Vegan Society and approved by Cruelty Free International. Choosing it is a small, simple step towards a home with less plastic and fewer unnecessary chemicals.
Choosing products made close to home helps to support local jobs and reduces the distance your purchases travel. Friendly Soap makes its range in the Calder Valley in West Yorkshire, where a small team takes pride in producing everything with care and attention to detail. It is the kind of honest, small-scale making that is increasingly hard to find, and it shows in the quality.

I started using Essentia Natura Collagen a few weeks ago, and I’m genuinely impressed. My skin feels smoother, my hair looks healthier, and even my joints feel less stiff after workouts. It’s such an easy addition to my routine, and I can already see the difference.
I was looking for something simple to help me eat better and feel healthier, and Zen Health Foods made it easy. Everything feels thoughtfully chosen, and I love knowing I’m putting better things into my body.
