Sodium cocoate, Sodium rapeseedate, Aqua, Sodium shea butterate, Sodium bicarbonate, Melaleuca alternifolia leaf oil, Cymbopogon citratus leaf oil, Citrus limon peel oil, Citrus aurantifolia peel oil, Capsicum annuum fruit powder, Limonene, Citral. *Occurs naturally in essential oils.
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with clean water. Do not use on broken or irritated skin, and discontinue use if redness or irritation develops. Keep out of reach of children. Contains essential oils with naturally occurring limonene and citral, which may cause a reaction in sensitive individuals - carry out a patch test first if you have sensitive skin.
Wet the bar and your skin with warm water, then rub the soap between your hands or directly onto the skin to build a creamy lather. Massage gently over hands, face or body and rinse thoroughly with clean water. Between uses, rest the bar on a free-draining soap dish or in a soap saver so it dries out completely - this helps it last much longer.
Anyone who has chopped garlic, peeled onions or handled fish knows how stubbornly kitchen smells cling to your fingers. Friendly Soap's Cook's Soap was created with exactly that problem in mind. This handmade 95g bar is part of the brand's hard-working Work range and is designed to cut through grease and leave hands smelling fresh after cooking. It is tough on kitchen grime yet still kind to hands that get washed dozens of times a day.
The bar combines four bright essential oils - lemongrass, lemon, lime and tea tree - for a zesty, clean aroma that helps tackle lingering kitchen odours. Bicarbonate of soda is added for extra cleansing power, and a touch of paprika powder gives the soap its warm natural colour. All of this sits on a base of coconut oil, rapeseed oil and shea butter, which keeps the lather creamy and stops hands from feeling tight. Limonene and citral occur naturally in the citrus and lemongrass oils.
Wet your hands and work up a rich lather, paying attention to fingertips and under the nails. The zingy citrus scent cuts through food smells, and the foam rinses away cleanly to leave hands feeling fresh, clean and comfortable. Keep it on a draining dish by the kitchen sink and it will quickly become the bar everyone in the house reaches for after cooking.
Plastic-free from start to finish, this bar arrives in a recycled and recyclable card box and is free from palm oil, parabens, SLS, sulphates, phthalates, triclosan and synthetic fragrances. It is made in small batches in the UK, registered with The Vegan Society and approved by Cruelty Free International. Friendly Soap also holds a Best rating from Ethical Consumer, recognising a business built on fair pay, ethical sourcing and a genuine commitment to reducing waste.
Perfect for home cooks, professional chefs, bakers and anyone who spends plenty of time in the kitchen. It also makes a great gift for foodie friends.
To keep your bar at its best, let it dry out between uses on a free-draining soap dish, rack or soap saver. Handmade natural soaps contain no synthetic hardeners, so a bar left sitting in a puddle of water will soften faster than you might expect. Kept dry, it lasts surprisingly well.
Every Friendly Soap product is designed to be as kind as possible to people and planet alike. The range is free from palm oil, parabens, SLS, triclosan and phthalates, and it is registered with The Vegan Society and approved by Cruelty Free International. Choosing it is a small, simple step towards a home with less plastic and fewer unnecessary chemicals.
Choosing products made close to home helps to support local jobs and reduces the distance your purchases travel. Friendly Soap makes its range in the Calder Valley in West Yorkshire, where a small team takes pride in producing everything with care and attention to detail. It is the kind of honest, small-scale making that is increasingly hard to find, and it shows in the quality.

I started using Essentia Natura Collagen a few weeks ago, and I’m genuinely impressed. My skin feels smoother, my hair looks healthier, and even my joints feel less stiff after workouts. It’s such an easy addition to my routine, and I can already see the difference.
I was looking for something simple to help me eat better and feel healthier, and Zen Health Foods made it easy. Everything feels thoughtfully chosen, and I love knowing I’m putting better things into my body.
