Now the first aid salt of the twelve comes in a quick spray, so it's ready to use the moment you feel a little run down, overheated or knocked about.

The Schuessler 30ML Spray - Ferr Phos is lactose-free and sugar-free, and its slim bottle slips easily into a first aid kit, glovebox or handbag.

About Ferr Phos

Ferr Phos, or iron phosphate, is closely linked with oxygen in Dr Schuessler's system, as iron is a key part of the haemoglobin that carries oxygen around the body. It's traditionally the salt for the first stage of inflammation, which is why it's so often taken early. Ferr Phos appears in many combinations, including Combination 5, Combination 12 and Combination T.

Why Choose the Spray?

Martin & Pleasance created its 30ml tissue salt sprays for people who love the Schuessler approach but would rather avoid tablets. The minerals are held in a liquid base of purified water, glycerin and ethanol instead of lactose, so the sprays are lactose-free and sugar-free. Each spray delivers 0.2ml, and a bottle holds around 150 sprays. It's a quick, mess-free way to take your salt directly into the mouth, and the slim bottle is easy to slip into a bag, desk drawer or travel kit.

Where Tissue Salts Began

The tissue salt system was first set out in the 1870s by Dr Wilhelm Heinrich Schuessler, a physician working in northern Germany. He believed that twelve mineral salts formed the basic building blocks of the body's cells and that keeping them in balance was central to everyday wellbeing. Rather than giving large mineral doses, he triturated each salt with milk sugar to create a very gentle preparation. Generations of families have since kept a few of his salts in the cupboard, and the original twelve are still made to the same principles today.

About the Brand

Martin & Pleasance has specialised in natural remedies for well over a century and is one of the most familiar names in tissue salts. Its Schuessler sprays sit alongside the classic tablets, offering the same 6X potency salts in a format that suits modern, busy routines and anyone who prefers to avoid lactose.

Making It Part of Your Day

Tissue salts work best as a gentle habit rather than an occasional extra. Try linking the Ferr Phos spray to things you already do, such as before breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a final dose as you head to bed. If you're new to tissue salts, give it a few weeks of steady use and, if you're unsure which salts suit you best, have a chat with a qualified practitioner or our friendly in-store team.

Handy Tips

Spray directly into the mouth, ideally half an hour before food

Avoid strong mint or coffee around the time of a dose

Do not use if the safety seal is broken

Keep the cap on and store away from heat and sunlight

Roughly 150 sprays per bottle

The original first aid salt in a grab-and-go format, the Ferr Phos spray deserves a spot in every travel bag.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0965/7191/6675/files/KIN-8073_5819ade2-1460-44b4-a161-e3aec780dd9b.webp?v=1793966330
